How long is my data retained for?

Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration requires that as long as TDT Safety Training is in business we must retain logs and records of all trainings given and those that attended the trainings.  

The State of Minnesota Driver and Vehicle Services administrative rules and Minnesota Statute provide guidance of a minium of three years from the date of last interaction with a student.  

We retain this information for an indefinite period of time.  We may convert the information into digital data and if you've taken training in the past (more than a year from the current date)we may need some extra time to research that information.  

Please note, we do not maintain paper copies of certifications or completion, we only keep PDF or digital records and as such can only provide them via email to former students or employers or government officials.  

We do not resell or share data you have provided to us without your express written consent unless ordered under a court order or applicable law or rule.  We may release the data is requested by our training partners to ensure that you receive appropriate training based on the past classes you have attended through our organization.
